Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time Product Coordinator to support the development and management of our growing product line, as well as support our private label manufacturing operations. This role will focus on purchasing and sourcing, vendor communication, SKU setup and data management, and both internal and customer-facing project coordination. The right candidate will be detail-oriented, results-driven, and capable of managing multiple active projects with efficiency and clarity. This position offers a unique opportunity to work across departments and contribute meaningfully to both our operations and creative pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Vendor Management: Communicate directly with vendors and suppliers of raw materials, components and packaging to ensure cost, lead-time and quality accuracy.
     
  • SKU Creation: Set-up and maintain raw material, component, and product skus in ERP system while ensuring data integrity across product lines.
     
  • Sample Management: Manage tracking of sample materials and regularly update key stakeholders; receive materials and coordinate with production teams to create sales, pre-production, and photoshoot samples in support of product development initiatives and upcoming launches.
     
  • Product Development: Support the development of candles and apothecary products through raw materials documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing burn testing priorities for operations, and ensuring product specification accuracy across products and sales channels.
     
  • Project Management: Support product managers on high-profile, customer facing projects from initial design to final shipping, updating clients on timelines and milestones.
     
  • Inventory Management: Work closely with product managers and operations to ensure timely delivery of components and raw materials for production. This includes placing purchase orders of materials, coordinating freight, and tracking transportation.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 1–3 years of experience in product coordination, sourcing, purchasing, supply chain, or a similar role (internships and relevant experience considered)
     
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong time management skills
     
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
     
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets, project management tools (e.g. Asana, Smartsheets, or equivalent), and ERP systems (e.g., Cin7 / Cin7 Core, NetSuite, SAP or equivalent)
     
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects and competing priorities while meeting tight deadlines
     
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to learn and grow within a fast-paced, high-growth business
     
  • A proactive, team-first attitude and a passion for thoughtfully made products
     
  • Experience in the candle, fragrance, or consumer goods industry is a plus
